About AIKURA
Built on research. Proven in practice. Transforming construction procurement.
Our Mission
AIKURA exists to eliminate the inefficiencies that plague construction procurement. We believe that AI can transform how construction projects are tendered, evaluated, and awarded — reducing costs, improving quality, and freeing professionals to focus on what matters: building exceptional projects.
The Founder

Jeremy Huynh
Principal Co-Founder | Industry Expert | PhD Candidate
Jeremy Huynh is the Founder of AIKURA, an AI-enabled construction procurement platform designed to modernise how commercial construction teams manage scope, tendering, decision-making, and procurement workflows across large-scale projects.
With experience spanning industrial, education, and commercial construction environments, Jeremy has worked across projects collectively exceeding $1 billion in value. His background combines frontline project delivery experience with deep involvement in procurement coordination, subcontractor engagement, contract administration, tender evaluation, scope development, and commercial risk management within live project environments.
Throughout his career, Jeremy identified a recurring industry problem: procurement teams operating inside fragmented systems, disconnected information, and highly manual workflows — where critical decisions are often made under time pressure, with inconsistent visibility and limited organisational memory. The result is scope ambiguity, delayed procurement cycles, avoidable disputes, and knowledge loss across projects.
Rather than treating these issues as isolated operational frustrations, Jeremy pursued doctoral research to investigate them at a systems level.
He is currently undertaking a PhD in Construction Management at Curtin University, with research focused on the integration of artificial intelligence, automation, and decision-support systems within construction procurement. His work explores how technologies such as AI agents, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and intelligent document analysis can improve procurement clarity, coordination, and decision quality across the project lifecycle.
AIKURA emerged directly from this research and industry experience — not as a theoretical concept, but as a practical operating system for modern construction procurement.
The platform is being developed to assist construction teams with tasks such as scope generation, tender analysis, subcontractor evaluation, procurement coordination, RFI handling, and project-specific knowledge retrieval, while maintaining human oversight and commercial accountability at the centre of decision-making.
Jeremy's vision for AIKURA is to help transform procurement from an administrative bottleneck into a strategic decision engine for the construction industry.

Academic Foundation
AIKURA is not just another tech startup. Our approach is grounded in rigorous academic research conducted at Curtin University. This means our solutions are built on validated methodologies, peer-reviewed findings, and a deep understanding of both AI capabilities and construction industry realities.
Our Values
Research-Driven
Every feature is backed by academic research and industry validation. We don't build on hype — we build on evidence.
Practitioner-Built
We understand construction because we've lived it. Our solutions address real pain points, not imagined ones.
Human-Centered
AI should augment human expertise, not replace it. We build tools that make professionals more effective.
Transparency
We're open about our research, our limitations, and our roadmap. Trust is earned through honesty.
